Joyce is a registered nurse-midwife who has also studied human nutrition. She is passionate about maternal and child health and nutrition and is challenged to contribute to research that focuses on nutritional challenges faced by the developing world today. She is completing her doctoral degree in Public Health at the University of Massachusetts- Amherst.
