DeLaura Shorter is the assistant DIO and assistant director at the University of South Florida department of Graduate Medical Education. She has over 12 years of experience in the field of medical education. Mrs. Shorter’s top priority is ensuring an effective educational environment for all trainees through program and institutional compliance with the policies, procedures and standards set forth by the ACGME. Mrs. Shorter received her BA from Marymount University and a master’s degree in Project Management from the University of South Florida.
