Marie Wofford, MD, MPH is a resident physician at Carolinas Medical Center Emergency Medicine Residency Program in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Wofford attended medical school at UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Throughout her residency training, she has enjoyed delivering patient care, learning from her teammates, and giving back to the community. She has a passion for investigating topics related to wellness, health equity, and diversity and inclusion in Emergency Medicine. She has served as Wellness Committee Member for residents and also is a CORD Mini-Fellowship in Wellness Leadership Scholar. In her free time, you can find her volunteering with high school students interested in medicine. You can also find her biking, hiking, eating tacos, or enjoying quality time with her husband and family.
