Michael S. Beeson, M.D., MBA is the Vice Chair of Academics and Program Director at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio. He has been a program director for over 25 years. He has served as President of the Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors, and member of the ACGME RC-EM. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Beeson chaired the original Emergency Medicine Milestones Working Group that developed the original Emergency Medicine Milestones. Dr. Beeson has authored nearly 100 articles and chapters, most related to emergency medicine education.
