Chase Westra, MD is a third year emergency medicine resident physician at LAC+USC Medical Center with professional interests including global health, equitable healthcare access, and ED administration. During medical school, Dr. Westra participated in the Global Medicine (GMED) Program at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, where he was involved in programs in both Peru and the Dominican Republic. While at LAC+USC, he is participating in the Healthcare Administration Scholars Program and has ongoing global health projects in Bogotá, Colombia. He will be applying for Global Emergency Medicine Fellowship this upcoming cycle.
