Dr. Frallicciardi currently is an Associate Professor and the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Her professional interests include emergency department and hospital administration, resident and medical student education, healthcare simulation, patient safety and the patient experience. She resides in Hebron CT with her spouse and children.
Dr. Frallicciardi attended University of Connecticut (UConn) for her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Biochemistry. Subsequently, she completed a MS in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University. Dr. Frallicciardi earned her MD and completed EM residency at the UConn School of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in Healthcare Simulation from Hartford Hospital and an MBA at University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Business. She continued her academic medical career at Hartford Hospital where she served as an Emergency Physician, Assistant Residency Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency, and Director of EM Simulation. From 2016-2019 she served as Simulation Director at the UConn School of Medicine.
