My name is Russell Elmes and I am a PGY-3 MD resident at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. I am working primarily with Dr. Shamai Grossman to look at Emergency Department observation programs and evaluate how we can optimize them to improve a variety of metrics. In my free time I enjoy getting outside to hike, rock climb, camp and enjoy the open air with friends and colleagues. After my graduation in June I plan on moving to New York City and beginning my academic career at the Hackensack University Medical Center.
