Matthew Lukasik is a research specialist at the University of Wisconsin Department of Emergency Medicine. Matthew graduated with a bachelors in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in December 2021 and works under Dr. Manish Shah with a focus on supporting caregivers for those living with dementia as well as improving care transitions from the ED-to-home. Previous experience as an EMT has led Matthew to develop an interest in out-of-hospital care and care transitions.
