Dr. Salhi is currently a Chief Resident Physician in Emergency Medicine at the University of Michigan. She completed her graduate training in Epidemiology and Health Disparities at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health before going on to complete her MD at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Her professional and research experiences include the use of health systems science to identify and address quality gaps in health outcomes, as well as the early integration of medical students into this sphere to encourage early engagement of our leaders-in-training. She is additionally interested in developing mechanisms to most effectively engage and empower our learners/mentees.
