Dr. Katie Buck graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 2016. She completed her residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) in 2019, where she served as a Chief Resident. Dr. Buck then completed an Emergency Medicine Research Fellowship while pursuing an MPH in Biostatistics. She is dedicated to improving care for older adults. Her current research includes a prospective observational study aiming to improve the diagnostic accuracy of pneumonia in older adult emergency department patients. This endeavor is funded by an NIH R03 GEMSSTAR and the SAEM Foundation GEMSSTAR Supplement Grant. Dr. Buck currently is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at The Ohio State University, where she has been nominated for multiple awards for her dedication to education, excellence in clinical work, and quality patient care.
