Clinical Instructor
Yale University School of Medicine
New Haven, Connecticut, United States
I was born and raised in Connecticut. After studying biology and English literature at Providence college, I became a high school biology teacher and obtained my Masters of Science in Education at Southern Connecticut State University. At the same time, I was coaching swimming, working in EMS, and training lifeguards. Eventually I decided to return to medical school and graduated with the inaugural class at the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.
Fortunately, I was able to complete my emergency medicine residency on Long Island at Stony Brook University Hospital where I was a Chief Resident in my final year. I stayed and completed a fellowship in Advanced Resuscitation. Most recently, I joined the Department of Emergency Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine and work as an attending physician and core faculty member for the emergency medicine residency. My clinical and research interests are focused on resuscitation, emergency critical care education, airway quality improvement, and advanced critical care echocardiography.
On my days off I am always searching for the perfect beach with Eli, my dog and long-time partner in crime!
