Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellow
Baystate Medical Center, Massachusetts, United States
My name is Dilruba Khanam, DO, FAAP, MAPP, MPH, and I am a current pediatric emergency medicine fellow at UMass Chan Medical School Baystate Medical Center. Prior to my fellowship, I trained as a pediatric resident at Cooper University Medical Center. My interests are pediatric airway, simulation education, advocacy, and quality improvement. This is the first time I am attending and presenting at SAEM! I had the pleasure of collaborating with an amazing group of co-investigators/mentors. I am excited to share our research findings regarding the first-pass success rate of ED intubations using direct versus video laryngoscopy in pediatric patients with limited neck mobility.
