Dr Peter A. D. Steel, MA, MBBS is the Vice Chair of Clinical Services and Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medicine's department of Emergency Medicine. In this role he leads multiple multidisciplinary clinical service lines at NYP-Weill Cornell Medical Center and NYP-Lower Manhattan Hospital, and oversees all operational, quality and patient safety and patient experience initiatives. He is the chair of the regional MCIC ED leadership Committee and serves on both regional and national American College of Emergency Physician committees. His research focuses on understanding the outcomes of patients discharged from the ED and developing interventions to improve post-ED healthcare trajectories.
