Bryn Mumma, MD, MAS, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. Prior to joining the faculty, she completed a Research Fellowship during which she completed the Mentored Clinical Research Training Program and earned her MAS in Clinical Research. Her main research focus is cardiovascular emergencies, with particular interest in high-sensitivity troponin, myocardial injury and infarction, and out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Other areas of interest include sex and race disparities im emergency medicine and human trafficking. She is the SAEM Grants Committee Chair and SAEM Bylaws Committee Chair for 2022-23. She also serves as course faculty in the SAEM Grant Writing Workshop.
