Emergency Medicine Resident

Eleanor is currently a senior EM resident at UMMS-Baystate in western Massachusetts; she will rise to a third year in October after taking time off to recover following surgeries related to her transition. Originally from the NYC suburbs, she attended college in upstate NY before returning to Manhattan as a software engineer for several years before semi-retiring to pursue a career in medicine. She hopes to continue working on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community and combining her love of teaching by creating curricula for medical students, residents, and physicians in practice. She can often be found her workshop, building new software, or out biking!
