Jesús Treviño MD MBA is a PGY-4 Emergency Medicine Resident at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. His research interests include data mining for the identification of novel datasets and predictive models that can help healthcare and social service providers better understand the behavior and needs of patients, and lead to improved healthcare service operations.
He is a co-founder of Salubris Analytics Inc. – a data science and mobile health startup that develops patient engagement software for payers and providers. His current research involves the use of social media data to improve predictions of gun violence in urban areas.
His past experiences range from translational research at the MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX) to water & energy infrastructure development with Engineers Without Borders USA (Nicaragua) and operations consulting within the Health Industries Advisory Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers (Boston, MA). Jesús is from the great state of Texas and attended Rice University (BS 2009), MIT Sloan (MBA 2014) and Harvard Medical School (MD 2015). In July 2019, he will join the faculty of the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (Washington DC) within the Department of Emergency Medicine’s Section of Innovative Practice and Telehealth, where he will assist ongoing telemedicine initiatives. His interests in healthcare include: Emergency Medicine, healthcare systems design and operations, violence prevention programming, and social media data mining and analytics.
