Jesús Treviño MD MBA is an Emergency Medicine physician and Assistant Professor at the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. He also serves as the Director for the George Washington University Center for Injury Prevention & Control, and Associate Medical Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine at United Medical Center in Washington, DC. His research interests include data mining for the identification of novel datasets and predictive models that can help healthcare and social service providers better understand the behavior and needs of patients. In addition, he is also active in the following areas: healthcare operations, violence prevention research and programming, and social media data mining and analytics.
His past experiences range from translational research at the MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX) to water & energy infrastructure development with Engineers Without Borders USA (Nicaragua) and operations consulting within the Health Industries Advisory Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers (Boston, MA). Jesús graduated from Rice University (BS 2009), MIT Sloan School of Management (MBA 2014) and Harvard Medical School (MD 2015); he completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL (2019).
