Dr. John Sather is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine and is the Director of Quality Improvement and ED Critical Care for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital. With clinical experience in both Emergency Medicine and Surgical Critical Care, Dr. Sather's academic focus is on diagnostic safety and critical care transitions involving the Emergency Department. Current funded projects include "Improving the Safety and Quality of Interhospital Transfer of Atraumatic ICH/SAH" in conjuntion with Yale's Center for Healthcare, Innovation, Redsign, and Learning (CHIRAL). In addition, Dr. Sather is a talented educator and co-leads the clinical reasoning curriculum at the Yale School of Medicine with a focus on metacognition.
