Amish Aghera is a board certified EM physician, graduating from the Jacobi/Montefiore residency program in 2007. Since, he has worked at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. There, he has previously served in the roles of medical student clerkship director and assistant residency program director. Currently, he is the director of the EM Department's Simulation Division and Fellowship. Dr Aghera also serves as the Director of the Maimonides Center for Clinical Simulation and Safety, providing oversight for simulation-based activities throughout the institution. His interests include patient safety, faculty development, integrating simulation based initiatives with operational systems, and education based research.
