As a native New Yorker I have been serving the children of Brooklyn throughout my medical career. I attended SUNY Downstate Medical School, completed a pediatric residency and a chief residency at Kings County Hospital and SUNY Downstate, worked in the pediatric ED at Kings County Hospital for one year after residency and then began a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Maimonides in 2009. I joined as full time faculty immediately after fellowship and became assistant director in 2017.
