Scott Roseberry is a Battalion Chief and has been with the Garland Fire Department for 22 years. He has an Associate’s Degree in Fire Protection, a Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. He holds the designation of Master Firefighter, Chief Fire Officer from CPSE, FS-CEO from TEEX, Chief Fire Executive from TFCA, EFO from the National Fire Academy, and Certified Public Manager from Texas State University. Chief Roseberry has commanded many Multi-Alarm assignments including the EF-4 Tornado that struck Garland, TX December 26, 2015, and is a member of the Texas Region 1 Type III IMT. He is on the IAFC Technology Committee, the FEMA Region 6 RAC, and the Department of Homeland Security First Responder Resource Group. Scott oversees his department's Officer Development Program and is an Adjunct Instructor with TCC. Along with FRI, he has given presentations around his region, at the Texas Fire Chiefs Conference, TEEX Leadership Symposium, and CPSE annual conference.
