Glen Purcell, RN, is currently the Trauma Clinician at Vancouver General Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. After completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia in 2000, he worked as a prehospital medical provider. He completed his Bachelors of Nursing at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in 2007. He worked as an Emergency RN at multiple sites in the Vancouver area before becoming a Clinical Instructor and Faculty for the BCIT Emergency Nursing specialty program. He is a course coordinator for ATLS, ASSET, DSTC and RTTDC and is the current National ATLS Coordinator for Canada.
