Mr. Emminizer retired in March of 2019 after 7 years as the Chief of Emergency Operations with the Department of Environment in Washington, DC. He has 30 years of Emergency Services experience including 20 years of hazardous materials response and clean up experience. He currently works as a field instructor for Hazardous Materials response with the University of Maryland, and is currently the Director of Environmental, Health and Safety for Armada Hoffler Properties in Virginia Beach, VA
