Greg Milewski is a Technical Safety & Risk Engineer and is a degreed Fire Protection Engineer, Certified Fire Protection Specialist, Certified Safety Professional and a qualified Incident Commander. He has 38+ years' experience in refineries, chemical plants, pipelines,, Terminals, Lube Plants, gas plants (LPG, LNG) and Alternate Energy businesses (Hydrogen for H2 Fuel Cell Vehicles, BioFuels, BioEthanol and LNG as fuel for Transport).
Mr Milewski's experience includes the new business/industry developing LNG as an alternate fuel for diesel and bunker fuel. This has included Technical Safety aspects for the safe design, startup and operation, of LNG fueling stations, bunker stations, and small scale liquefaction plants.
Mr Milewski is a Principal on national codes and standards committees developing new codes and industry standards for LNG, CNG and Hydrogen fueling stations/processes. NFPA 2 and NFPA 52/55.
Mr Milewski has 25 years' experience in the fire service from Firefighter/Paramedic in both Municipal and Industrial Fire Departments having achieved chief Fire Officer of a municipal fire dept (retired).
Mr. Milewski has been a Fire Instructor at the UNR Fire Science Academy (Reno).
Mr Milewski has trained Fire Departments, HAZMAT Teams, Fire Marshals and Emergency Response organizations in 6 states on LNG Safety and LNG Emergency Response. He worked with the NASFM to develop and implement the LNG Emergencies 101 module in their online Training System.
