Mr. Pakorn Patimetha is currently Detective Sergeant (DSG) with the New Jersey State Police’s Hazardous Materials Response Unit. DSG Patimetha is responsible for the research and development of the narcotics “fentanyl” field testing program for first responders and the fentanyl exposure response guidelines for the NJ State Police. Since the inception of the programs, various law enforcement agencies and hazmat teams have used this paradigm taught to assist with narcotics investigation and exposure incidents throughout the state. DSG Patimetha had served as a subject matter expert for various aspect of narcotics investigations ranging from contaminated crime scene processing, field identification of unknown narcotics/chemicals, and clandestine laboratory investigation. DSG Pakorn Patimetha holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from New Jersey City University.
