J.J. Farantatos is a twenty-year career firefighter / hazmat technician, and he most recently has served as Lieutenant on the State of NC Hazardous Materials Regional Response Team 4 under the City of Raleigh Fire Department. He has more than ten years experience as a hazmat instructor for emergency services and private industry. He also provides consultancy services for hazmat training development programs and tours the Country and presenting at various conferences focusing on development of new tools to create programs that will better prepare those that respond to hazardous materials emergencies.
