C.J. Bartone is a Deputy Chief/Paramedic with the West Springfield (MA) Fire Department, where he has served since 2001. C.J. is also a HazMat Tech and the Training Coordinator with the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services District 4 Hazardous Materials Response Team. In that role, he is one of just 12 technicians on the Joint Hazards Incident Response Team (JHIRT) and works in tandem with the Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad and Clandestine Lab Enforcement Team to provide technical support at incidents involving energetic materials, clan labs, and weapons of mass destruction.
C.J. has Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Services Management from Springfield College.
