Albe is the Fire Chief for the New Canaan CT Fire Department. Prior to the appointment to Fire Chief, he served with the Norwalk Fire Department and Fairfield County Hazardous Incident Response Team for 27 years. He was a hazmat team leader and a member of the state urban search and rescue team. Albe is an adjunct instructor with the Connecticut Fire Academy. Albe is certified to Fire Service Instructor 3 and holds a B.S. degree in Fire Technology and Administration, an MBA from the University of New Haven, and a Masters in I/O Psychology from Walden University.
