Carol H Yan, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Diego. Her clinical and research interests include olfactory disorders, sinonasal inflammatory disease and rhinitis management, and skull base surgery
Dr. Yan completed her residency training at the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Otolaryngology and a 2-year fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at Stanford University. Dr. Yan is currently serving as a member of the ARS Research and Grants Committee and was previously on the ARS Resident & Fellows Committee. She has ongoing clinical and translational research with a particular focus on post-viral and sinonasal inflammatory related olfactory dysfunction.
