Elisabeth D. Ference, MD, MPH, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, teens and adults with sinus problems and allergies. She treats all diseases of the ears, nose and throat, also specializing in sinus and skull base surgery. Board certified in otolaryngology, she was recently named a Los Angeles Magazine Top Doctor.
Dr. Ference’s research interests include improvement of surgical outcomes and development of surgical technologies and devices that can enhance treatment. She also is studying ways to prevent the dispersal of infectious particles in an aerosol form during medical procedures. She has published extensively on antibiotic usage, balloon sinuplasty for blocked sinuses and sinus surgery outcomes.
Dr. Ference is active in various medical societies, including the Women in Rhinology Section of the American Rhinologic Society.
A California native who grew up in Fullerton, she enjoys gardening and cooking, as well as hiking in the Sierras.
