Eli Stein is a medical student at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He is currently in the middle of a research year in the Department of Otolaryngology where he is studying the immunologic pathways of chronic rhinosinusitis under the mentorship of Dr. Bruce Tan. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, before attending Queens College, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He is planning to pursue a residency in otolaryngology. His research interests include machine learning in the diagnosis of CRS and characterizing the endotypes of CRS.
