I am Joshua Schindler, MD an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. I completed medical school at the University fo California, San Francisco and residency at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Following residency training, I completed fellowship in Advanced Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins Medical Center and another fellowship in Laryngology and Care of the Professional Voice at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Since fellowship, I have been the Medical Director of the Northwest Voice and Swallowing Center where I am also the director of the Laryngology fellowship training program. I have been the surgeon lead for Ambulatory Surgery for over 10 years and am also the chair of the Laser Safety Committee. My interests include laryngeal and upper airway stenosis, laryngeal cancer, Zenker's diverticulum and chronic cough.
