Charles Teames is a third year medical student at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He received his B.S. in Physiology and Developmental Biology from Brigham Young University. His research interests are granulomatosis with polyangiitis, mandibular fracture repair, vaccine hesitancy and narrative medicine. Charles is working towards becoming at otolaryngologist and will apply to NRMP match in 2024. He is a published poet and is co-president of University of Utah Writer's in Medicine which works to integrate narrative, reflective and poetic writing into the experience of both patient care and medical education.
