Dr. Scott Rickert is the Division Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology at NYU Langone Health and the Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone. He also the Director of the Pediatric Voice Center and Pediatric Aerodigestive Center
He is currently an Associate Professor in Otolaryngology, Pediatrics, and Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone. He enjoys treating all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology and has particular subspecialty expertise in patients with craniofacial, airway/voice, sinus, and swallowing issues.
His research interests include congenital and acquired pediatric airway/voice issues, vocal fold paralysis, swallowing issues, and surgical simulation. He is a prolific academic surgeon who has published over 50 articles/chapters in national/international journals and books. He has given many invited lectures around the United States and internationally. He was also awarded the Noel Cohen Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching in Otolaryngology at NYU Langone.
