Dr. Erika Woodson is the Section Head of Otology/Neurotology/Skull Base Surgery and Medical Director of the Hearing Implant Program at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland OH. Dr. Woodson graduated from Medical College of Virginia and completed residency and neurotology fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She is a past-Chair of the Women In Otolarynogology Section of the American Academy of Otolaryngology--Head and Neck Surgery. Woodson's practice runs the entire range of neurotology, including NF2, skullbase surgery, radiosurgery, cochlear implants, osseointegrated implants, and chronic ear surgery (with a focus on total endoscopic ear surgery). Dr. Woodson's clinical reseach interests are hearing preservation and functional outcomes after CI as well as candidacy identification for hearing implants. She also has a special interest in telemedicine and serves as the physician lead for telemedcine for the Cleveland Clinic Head and Neck Institute.
