I am a 3rd year PhD Student in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. I study cartilage tissue engineering for pediatric laryngotracheal reconstruction. We employ decellularized scaffolds to create cartilage grafts that are tested in a rabbit and pig model with the gaol to translate this therapy to the pediatric population at CHOP.
