Amber Shaffer, PhD, is a Research Manager at UPMC Children's Hospital of PIttsburgh. She completed doctoral training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh working with animal models of chronic bladder pain. She transitioned to clinical research in Pediatric Otolaryngology with a focus on otologic outcomes in children with craniofacial anomalies.
