Sumitrajit (Sumit) Dhar is the Hugh Knowles Professor of Hearing Science at Northwestern University. He also serves as the Associate Provost for Faculty for the University. His research domains include cochlear mechanics, otoacoustic emissions, and hearing healthcare delivery. Work in his laboratory has been and continues to be funded by federal and non-federal organizations includign the NIH.
