Michelle R. Armstrong, MAEd, MA, C-TAGME
Ms. Armstrong is the Associate Executive Director for the Review Committees of Plastic Surgery, Surgery and Thoracic Surgery. She joined the ACGME in January 2020 after her tenure at Loyola University Medical Center as a Residency and Fellowship Coordinator within the Department of Neurology. She received the 2019 American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Program Coordinator Recognition Award. Ms. Armstrong earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Promotions at the University of Iowa. She continued to work and earn two masters’ degrees in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Xavier University Chicago and Bioethics and Health Policy Administration from Loyola University Chicago. She enjoys writing and contributed to the "The Program Coordinator's Role: Helping to Create 'Live Well and Lead Well' Initiative in Neurology" and "Program Coordinator Development: Choosing, Training and Forging Relationships with Incoming Chief Residents" AAN Program Coordinator Resources.
