Stephanie Williams, M.D. is an internal medicine resident phsyician at the Florida State University College of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency Progam at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Her primary interests include Hospital and Primary Preventive Medicine with an emphasis on service of medically under-served and under-represented patient populations. Dr. Williams graduated from Florida State University College of Medicine in 2020, where she was awarded the Chapman Humanism Scholarship through patient selection from her medical school class of over 200 students, in recognition of her ability to communitcate with and care for patients in a sincere and humanistic way. She currently serves as co-chair of Florida State University/Sarasota Memorial Hospital Internal Medicine Diversity, Equity, and, Inclusion Program and also serves on the hospital's education subcomittee for Diversity, Equity, and, Inclusion. Dr. Williams looks forward to a career dedicated to primary care with community engagement and empowerment, in an effort to help reduce health disparties within patient populations most at risk.
