Jodie Emerson D.N.P., M.S., CRNA currently works in Alma, Michigan as an independent contractor with Clinical Colleagues, INC. The lifelong learning path started at the University of Buffalo M.S. ('04); D.N.P. ('18); with a certificate in Acute Surgical Pain Management (MTSA '22). Dr. Emerson has volunteered time with the Michigan Association of Nurse Anesthetists as Government Relations Committee Co-Chair (2020 - current) and PAC Chair (2019-20). Dr. Emerson was a MANA "Legislative Task Force" team member in advocating for a successful passage of Michigan House Bill 4359 in 2020 -21. Dr. Emerson also serves on the AANA GRC this term. One of the successful strategies utilized was partnering with external organizations for support of MANA legislative activities.
