Sr. Principle Engineer – Global Robotics Program
Anthony has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. He has 30 years of experience designing and building custom equipment for a variety of markets; pharmaceutical, automotive, consumer goods, and energy. He was the owner/operator of a custom machine design business for 12 years where he provided turnkey systems from concept to installation. Three years of his career were at a lithium battery manufacturer where he was responsible for developing robotic assembly equipment and processes. He has been with Eli Lilly and Company for a total of 10 years. The first 6 years were spent as a lead system designer in an internal equipment design group. In his current role in Lilly’s Robotics Program, he is the global steward of the automated (robotic) handling systems for cartridges and vials. He has led the design of Lilly’s first automated cartridge handling system, which is in operation. He is currently working on multiple handling systems which are in various stages of development for cartridges and vials.
