Dr. Karry LeBlanc, PhD is the Senior Scientist for the Opioids Biosurveillance Project at the Florida Department of Health-Bureau of Public Health Laboratories in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. LeBlanc received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Tulane University and B.S. in Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana. Her background is in reaction kinetics, synthesis, and analysis as a bio-organic chemist. During her years in New Orleans, she gained vast experience in various laboratories while also teaching organic chemistry laboratories. She is now back in her hometown of Jacksonville with her toddler twin boys.
