Director of Product, Metal Systems
Desktop Metal
Burlington, Massachusetts, United States
Ben Fisk is Senior Product Manager at Desktop Metal, a company committed to bringing metal 3D printing to engineers and manufacturers. In this role, he is responsible for the development and release of Production System, the only 3D printing system for mass production of high resolution metal parts today. Using new, proprietary Single Pass Jetting (SPJ) technology, the Production System is 100 times faster than today’s laser-based additive manufacturing systems.
With more than 20 years of experience in project management and technology development, Bens’ expertise is in directing product development activities for advanced system design and production incorporation. Prior to joining Desktop Metal in 2018, Ben was General Manager of Methods 3D, Inc., a nationwide distributor of production additive manufacturing equipment where he led a technical sales, engineering, and support organization. He also held several leadership positions at Pratt & Whitney, where he spent more than 15 years in additive manufacturing development, advanced military engine applications and technology collaborations.
Ben is a mechanical engineering graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and holds both a MS in Management and MBA in Business Administration from Albertus Magnus College.
