As a VP of a multi-disciplinary consulting firm, I focus on the synthesis of aesthetic, environmental, and regulatory issues through landscape architecture and planning. I find the conversation between disciplines to be complicated by a lack of common understanding and by divergent priorities. My objective is to aide in the translation between competing viewpoints and to balance various goals for long-term sustainable solutions.

In my "off time" I study garden and urban design history focusing on the late 19th and early 20th century and the intersections of the various design and artistic professions that combined to create the modern aesthetic.
