Tim is a principal with Surfacedesign, Inc. Tim seeks to harmonize the physical and material characteristics of landscape with those having social meaning and emotional allure. He is attentive to the many roles design has in society, believing that it can engage humanity with beauty and authenticity, provide a voice, problem-solve, and shape incredible spaces. Kirby is investigative and curious about emerging technologies and resource adaptation. An integral part of Surfacedesign’s leadership, he leads many of the firm’s institutional and campus projects.
