As a landscape architect, Lizzy Hirsch believes that well designed parks contribute to the cultural and natural health of a city. She has worked for the City of SF since 2002, transforming its public realm in various roles that include park activist, client agent, and design consultant. Her efforts resulted in the successful delivery of over 25 projects that range from a pocket playground to a 16-acre park. She currently leads the Parks Team Studio in the SF Public Works Landscape Architecture Department. In 2015 she received the Community Alliance Award from the SF Chapter of the AIA.
