Haven Kiers is an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture in the Department of Human Ecology at UC Davis. She has worked in landscape architecture, city and environmental planning, project management, garden maintenance and academia. Haven's research Investigates the intersection of ecology and aesthetics through studies examining the environmental benefits, technological progress, and acceptance of green infrastructure and sustainable design. Her work explores how science, design, and practice can converge to inform the creation of accessible, multi-functional landscapes that maximize cultural and environmental values.
