Since 2013, Goabamang has been a lecturer in Landscape Design and Urban and Rural Design at the University of Botswana (UB). She is the IFLA Africa representative in the IFLA Education and Academic Affairs committee. She brings to her work, detailed spatial thinking and knowledge of landscape architecture with a broader set of urban debates steeped in social science questions and practices. Her research interest is in the understanding of the Informal African cities practices and space. She has a strong educational background with two master’s degrees: one in Urban Studies and another one in Landscape Architecture.
