Terry Guen, FASLA is founder of Terry Guen Design Associates and landscape architect of Chicago's Millennium Park.
TGDA's "Design for Life" practice ethic enabled the small M/WBE business to support Terry's serving two terms as Obama appointee to the Advisory Council for Historic Preservation. As ACHP's Landscape Architecture expert and Asian American Pacific Islander member Terry worked with BIPOC leaders to forward more inclusive Preservation initiatives. She urges descendants of the historically excluded, and landscape architects to engage preservation-based social equity initiatives, as part of US History more inclusively reflecting our combined heritage.
